Beth has lived and worked in South Africa and Australia as a designer, illustrator, lecturer and general communications all-rounder.
Beth started writing in 2013 and won a place in the Hardcopy Professional Development Program for Australian Writers the following year. In 2015, she was awarded a scholarship by the Clare Writers’ Festival to the Fiona McIntosh Commercial Fiction Masterclass which she attended the following April. It was here the idea for Blindside took hold and resulted in an ASA Emerging Writers’ and Illustrators’ Mentorship Award, which she undertook with the fantastic Julia Stiles.
Tea and travel are her favourite indulgences. She shares her home in Canberra with one talented husband, two amazing teenagers, three demanding animals and an ever-growing number of books.
